3MB/SH Fishing Trip
3MBSH were lucky enough to be invited to a Masonic Fishing Charity fishing day at the beginning of October. The day was mild for autumn and we set off in the red bus for Westmill Farm Fishery near Ware. On arrival, each pupil was allocated an experienced fisherman, who showed them how to fish with assistance. a variety of fish were caught including bream, perch and crayfish, which were all returned to the water once pupils had had a good look. Everyone was treated to a barbecue lunch followed by a fruit platter and then it was back to the lake for more fishing.
Pupils' achievements were celebrated at a presentation of medals and certificates at the end of the afternoon. Pupils and staff had a fantastic day out and were very appreciative of the opportunity provided by the fishing charity.
