Fit4OCR
On the 8th June, Miss Hughes & Mrs Thiele took a group of students to Fit4OCR, an obstacle training centre at the Arena over in Baldock. Here they would have to work together as a team building up their trust, coordination, strength and balance. The morning saw the children crawling through mud, climbing over walls, walking the balance beams, negotiating the over and under poles, trying not to get stuck in the tyre mangle and acting like a monkey on the ninja rings. Some students even managed to conquer their fears of height and being dirty.
The students seem to thoroughly enjoy themselves and got stuck in, literally stuck in the mud and nearly loosing shoes and some even went as far as creating mud angles. Thankfully they could shower down afterwards school wouldn’t have been impressed if we came back in a state.
The students were a credit to the school during the trip and showed great teamwork and skill. Some even want to go again. There is a second trip happening in July with a different group so keep a look out for those pictures.
