School Council

At Lonsdale School pupil voice is valued highly. We want our young people to form opinions, challenge issues, ask questions and object when they are unhappy with something. We strive to develop opportunities which enable our pupils to make their voice heard, and we actively encourage them to have their say in all issues Lonsdale-related through the School Council. Pupils and staff are welcome to submit ideas and suggestions to the School Council and these will be discussed in a fair, respectful and democratic way.

We have representatives from across primary and secondary classes within the School Council (please see below). They meet regularly and are supported to bring the views and thoughts of their peers to the meetings.

Minutes of the School Council meetings will be published on this page, as well as any news they would like to share.
