Admission to Lonsdale School

Placement of a pupil at our school is a decision which is made by the Local Authority following consultation with the school and parents. Pupils will be considered when it is clear that they will benefit from the provision and that they meet the following criteria:

• The pupil has an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).
• The pupil’s prime need is identified as a physical and/or neurological impairment.

The pupil may have additional needs, which could include:

• Learning difficulties
• Medical needs
• Speech and language difficulties
